Henry Santos & Leslie Grace to Host 4th Annual Benefit, Sueños 2015


The event will take place on November 12th at the exclusive 40/40 Club in New York City

NEW YORK, October 13, 2015– As we approach the gift-giving season, we are counting the days to celebrate and give back to those who need it most. The DREAM Project (Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring Project) is pleased to announce its 4th Annual NYC Benefit: Sueños 2015 to continue offering high quality education to more than 6,000 underserved Dominican youth and break the cycle of poverty in more than 15 communities throughout the Dominican Republic.



Sueños 2015 will be presented by Latin GRAMMY Award winning singer Henry Santos and Latin GRAMMY nominated singer and Bachata sensation Leslie Grace, who have become Ambassadors of DREAM’s impactful programs. The bash is set to take place at the exclusive 40/40 Club in Manhattan on November 12, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This year, The Dream Project will honor Major League Baseball All-Star Robinson Cano, for his exceptional work supporting Dominican youth through his RC22 Foundation.

Sueños 2015 will bring together New York’s most prominent philanthropists, celebrities and invited guests, including the critically acclaimed author and Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Díaz; NBA All Star Al Horford, Miss Dominican Republic 2002 and Miss Universe 2003 Amelia Vega, TV and radio personality Carlos Lamarche, UFC’s Alex GarciaAriel Pichardo and Kassandra Fernández, Mr. and Miss Dominican Republic US as well as several cast members from the hit series Orange is the New Black, among many others.

All proceeds from the event will go towards DREAM’s early childhood development, at-risk youth and workforce development programs.
