Neutral Funk FOTD

Aug 14, 2011

I haven't done an FOTD post in so long but I've been in a neutral rut so that's all I've been doing. I've been super busy and haven't been going out much so my makeup hasn't been that interesting.

I did this look to switch up my neutral routine just a little by adding some electric blue to my lower lashline. It was to complement a grey maxi dress I was wearing. I didn't want to be so colorless all over hence the little funk to my neutral look.

Products Used:
FACE
NYX Face Primer (lavender one)
Latina Bella Liquid Foundation in No 10
Maybelline Fit Me Powder in No 350
Wet n Wild Bronzer in "Goddess"

MAC e/s in "bold & brazen"
Wet n Wild "Pride" e/s palette (dark brown, taupe and highlight colors)
NYX palette in "Bohemian Rhapsody" (brown for crease)

Buyers Beware of Luna Boston

Buyers Beware of Luna Boston

Aug 10, 2011

Luna Boston (www.lunaboston.com) is a site that sells handbags from designers such as Rebecca Minkoff and House of Harlow. So this is my experience dealing with them:

I ordered the Gypsy Crossbody Clutch by Rebecca Minkoff. I received it within 2 days and was dissatisfied because the color and texture of the bag wasn't true to its description. I went to the site to process the return and they send you a printing label but that label didn't show on my screen so I called and the customer service rep said to bring the bag in person to their offices in New York.

I did so the next day which was on July 7th. It states on their site to wait 7-10 business days for a refund. It has been a month already! I've called twice and they always they say they are going to give me my refund and have yet to do so. I've even written them a stern email and still nothing. So I have resorted to writing a blog post.

It is incredibly irresponsible of them to no give me my refund and I am very dissatisfied with their poor way of handling things. So I warn all my readers to think twice before purchasing anything from this site.

You're Cordially Invited...

Aug 8, 2011

To my dream wedding! I don't know why but I've been having wedding fever even though I'm nowhere near to getting married. I was also inspired by a blog post done by @MyMargieB on a fantasy wedding. This was really fun to do, actually too much fun lol. Hope you enjoy!

The Venue

I chose The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers as the location. With a beautiful view of the Hudson, it is the perfect place.
Flowers

My wedding has a strong purple theme because it's my favorite color. I will have tulips because they're my favorite as well as roses because it looks very pretty together.

I will carry a simple bouquet of purple tulips.

Bridesmaid Dresses

I liked this dress but my version will be fitted and shortened a little below the knee.

The Cake

I want my cake to be elegant and simple. And chocolate.

And last but not least...

The Dress!

I fell in love with this Vera Wang as soon as I saw it. My version is going to be a silvery white because I don't want a straight white dress.

To accessorize, I chose this tiara from Tiffany and purple, strappy Brian Atwood shoes. You best believe I'll be showing them off while I'm dancing away at my reception lol.

Thank you all for attending ;).
