Review: Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick

I was sent the new Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick by Influenster to try out and review. This new foundation is in stick form which makes it easy for travel. I was also sent the accompanying brush (sold separately) as well.

I received the Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation in the shade "Honey" since that was the one that looked closest to my skin tone, according to the swatches. However, I did get tan during my vacation to the Dominican Republic so n the photos it does look a little light compared to the rest of my body. It does match my face better though since I apply sunblock religiously to my face.

                                 

I did like this foundation, but I feel like I would like it a lot better in cooler weather. I wore it to my sister's wedding in the Dominican Republic and it held up well for the first couple of hours. then it got greasy on me, even with setting spray. To be fair, the weather is very hot and humid in my mother's hometown (Tenares, a province in the city of Salcedo). The foundation blended very well and it did not feel heavy sitting on my face. I just didn't like creasing and the greasy look it gave me in pictures. 

In Chicago, where the weather was little milder, it did hold up a lot longer. It also photographed really nicely as you can see in the photo below.

I did love the brush! The bristles are so dense and soft and it blended the foundation really nicely! I have used it to apply my BB cream and I am pleased with those results as well.
