Review: New Bite Beauty "Amuse Bouche" Lipsticks

Mar 3, 2016

Influenster sent me three shades from the new Amuse Bouche line from Bite Beauty. Amuse Bouche comes from the French term that means "mouth pleaser" so I found that to be pretty cute. Bite Beauty products are hand-crafted and are free of Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates.

Product Info: Swipe on bold, creamy lip color with Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche. Created and crafted by hand, Bite’s small batch, low-heat process preserves a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit.

I love the packaging of the lipsticks. It looks like a bite was take out of them, which is pretty clever. I was sent the shades Pepper, Gazpacho and Beetroot.

Pepper: dusty rose color
Gazpacho- blue-based red
Beetroot- deep berry

The lipsticks applied very easily and because of the cream formula, were easy to remove. I love the citrus smell as well. Bite Beauty never disappoints when it comes to quality and pigmentation, and the Amuse Bouches were not any different. These are a nice alternative to the matte formulas I have been favoring lately.

The Amuse Bouche has 32 shades and they vary from neutrals to bolder colors. There is even a black shade! These are all-natural products that do not skimp on quality and performance. They are also gluten-free. These retail at $26.00 USD and are available at Sephora stores and the Sephora website.
