Click for here my review of the Super Shock Shadows by Colourpop Cosmetics.

Colourpop Cosmetics lippie pencils in "Feminist", "Grind", "Leather", "Brink" and "LBB"

Hello everyone! Time for part two of my Colourpop Cosmetics review where I share swatches and my thoughts on their lip products. I have reviewed their Super Shock shadows already and I have raved about them. They are a must-purchase!

Colourpop Cosmetics Lippe Stix in "Ellarie" and "Creature"

So let's talk lippieS. I  purchased alot of the lip pencils and got three of their Lippe Stix. Colourpop has a range of great shades, some that are fairly unique. And I love how you can get shades only seen on higher-end brands for $5.00. Yup, $5.00!

Colourpop Cosmetics Lippie Pencil Swatches. "Creature" is mislabeled. It is actually LBB.

LIPPIE PENCILS
Brink: This is a mauve-nude color. This closely resembles the "Kylie Jenner" lip color that everybody has been going crazy for.
Leather: This is a deep purple color. Super coo on its own if you want to do a vampy look.
Feminist: A blackened purple. I LOVE this color! It looks great on and it is so sultry.
LBB (Creature in the swatch photo): A burgundy-red color. This resembles MAC "Diva" a bit to me.
Grind: A pretty magenta-pink color. Love, love, love this color!

LIPPIE STIX
Ellarie: This is a nice wine color. Matte finish. This shade was named after beauty vlogger Ellarie.
Creature: I was having a dark red lip fix. I just love how sophisticated it makes you look. This has a matte finish as well.
Pitch: A brown lipstick! That's not super expensive! Finally! This is a true brown color that does not have any red mixed in. It is described as a matte but it has more of a semi-matte finish.
Scandy: This is one bright pink! It is matte and lovely and I love it. So clean and VIVID.

I was expecting the lip pencils to be automatic but they aren't. You have to sharpen them. My main complaint about them is that they sharpen TERRIBLY. Once you sharpen them, the point loks ugly and a lot of product gets wasted. At first, I thought that perhaps I had a crappy sharpener. But my MAC and NYX pencils sharpen fine with it. That's pretty much my only complaint; I wish they sharpened better. Otherwise, they're great.

The Lippie Stix are retractable. I like the packaging of these due to their ease to take along with you. Just be sure to cap the top tightly or they will wander around in your bag. Happened to me.

Both the Lippie Stix and Pencils swatch wonderfully. They are super pigmented and apply pretty evenly. They are smooth to so they won't tug at the lips. The pencils and lippie stix also come in coordinating shades. I'm not really into buying matching lip liner and lipsticks, I prefer to mix everything up. so formula-wise, I have absolutely nothing negative to say.
I didn't do lip swatches but I have looks where I have used the lippie stix and pencils. See below. I have looks posted on my Instagram as well--@havtastic if you want to check it out!

My shipment took a lot longer to arrive this time. Colourpop is taking longer to process the order, I'm assuming it's due to the growing popularity of the brand. It is not terrible because they do inform you beforehand that it takes several days before your order gets processed. I just get antsy with anticipation when waiting for packages haha.

Once again, I would recommend everybody to give Colourpop a go. Whether it is for their eye products, lip products or both. Can't go wrong with either one! You can shop for Colourpop Cosmetics on their website.
