New York Mets Inspired Makeup

Oct 15, 2015

Congratulations to the New York Mets for winning the National League Division Series and going on to the next round which is the National League Championship Series. I am incredibly psyched to be able to witness this opportunity because the last time this happened was back in 2006.

Anywho, this look is inspired by the team colors which are orange and blue. I did a cut crease and went heavy on the orange in the crease. Then I did a blue eyeliner. I paired this with a bright orange lip. This is a fun look that is very colorful. I would most likely wear the eye with a more neutral lip as I feel it is more flattering on me. But do not be afraid to rock it out with the bold lip!

To get the blue to show really intensely, I first sketched out my wing with a white pencil. I used an angled eyeliner brush to get the wing really crisp and sharp. Then I went over it with a blue pencil liner. I would've preferred a liquid but didn't have one, surprisingly. Keep scrolling for more photos and makeup deets!
