Extreme Cat Eye FOTD & Koko Lashes Review

I wanted to branch out and do a look that's not as "pretty" or "safe". I was partially inspired by Amy's Makeup Box on Youtube. She is so gorgeous and I love her accent as well. Once I found a technique that worked for me, the double wing liner became super easy to do. It looks intimidating but it's all about practicing. For me, it's easier to sketch out the bottom wing first. By drawing the bottom wing first, I feel that I don't have to worry about leaving a big enough gap for the top wing.

My puppy Bruno made a cameo. He kept bugging me when I was taking photos so I decided to snap a few with him. He's at the difficult stage where he's biting everything and pooping every hour. But it's pretty hard to stay mad at that little face :).

The lashes that I'm wearing are by KoKo Lashes in the style "Goddess". They are a dupe for the "iconic" style by the brand House of Lashes, which are pretty popular. I don't own "Iconic" but I do own a couple of House of Lashes styles. I probably won't buy from HOL after discovering KoKo Lashes though. The quality of Koko Lashes is comparable to HOL at half the price. and the band on KoKo Lashes is a little thinner which is a plus.

The style "Goddess" is pretty dramatic. They are fully and spiky, perfect for a night out if you want to look really glam. While they are full, I really like that they don't overwhelm my eyes. The lash band on these are a little thicker than typical but is easy to work with. The band is pretty flexible and easy to fit in your eye shape.

I am wearing the style "Misha" in this post. I love this style! Warning: this style is super long. The lashes nearly touch my eyebrows. They are also really wispie too, which aids in making your eyes look bigger. The band for this style is super thin (similar to the Ardell Invisi-bands), so you can wear these without liner.

I purchased my KoKo Lashes at Miss Adoro. They retail from 3.99-6.99 USD. The style is "Goddess" is very popular so they are on a pre-order basis at the moment. There are also a ton of styles to choose from if you want to try something different.

Hope you enjoy this look. Product details are at the bottom of this post.
