Of course I went gaga over the new Maybelline display at Rite Aid and just had to purchase some items. For blogging purposes of course :).

I got the Maybelline Color Elixir Liquid Lip Balms in "Vision in Violet" and "Manadarin Rapture". The formula is like a glossy lipstick, The coverage is not that opaque, it took two coats to get even coverage. The gloss is not sticky which I like and I love the colors for the Spring. One thing I didn't like was the smell. It was too chemical-y for me. I just didn't like it at all.

PROS: affordable, wide range if colors, pretty packaging, easy to apply, balm comes with nice and sturdy brush
CONS: smell of product not pleasant, could be more opaque
